What I loved in February

I felt a bit flat when it came to the end of February and it was time to reflect on the month gone by and share all I had done and loved. It seems like the month had rushed by without a chance to fill it with all that I had hoped to. On reflection I don’t actually think it was quite like that and that is exactly why I love this process.

My diary is full of my daily gratitude lists, my phone is full of photos and when I take a moment of stillness I can access all my beautiful memories of the month gone by and smile and celebrate the wonder of it all.

February started with a trip to London to hang out with some of our oldest friends and dancing to some wonderful tunes thanks to our DJ buddies.

Our half-term was a little intense as I had a uni assignment due on the Tuesday but once that was in I had some really lovely 1-2-1 time with my children, we celebrated Max’s 12th birthday, enjoyed some time shopping in Bath and Rudi got her hair cut for the first time at a hairdressers. Gorgeousness all round!

I think my absolute favourite part of February was to take Imogen to her first meditation, A new moon meditation with my dear friend Elisa. She loved and we went home to buy some beautiful oracle cards and book the next meditation!

In the garden shoots started sprouting in my new raised beds that I filled with bulbs in the Autumn, crocuses and snow drops bloomed, the sky was beautifully pink and there were frosty dog walks and trips to our favourite forest.

I am super excited that later this year we are having a new kitchen fitted and we designed it in February. Now it’s all ordered and I just need to book in our Summer dates with our lovely kitchen fitter. More will be revealed about this later in the year.

Thanks to my lovely friend Victoria I got to go to a fun embroidery workshop at Babington House with Nicole Chui. So much fun and I am looking forward to doing more soon as part of my 50 before 50 creative project.

I made some special candles (I sang heart song as I made them and then took them into the garden to soak up some plant energy and rainbow rays from the sunlight) for the beautiful people I sang with on World Sound Healing Day on 14th February. That was so very magical.

Thank you for a beautiful February. xo
